In celebration of Black History Month the Lofties Sisters, including Mrs. James, will be performing for the students on February 18, 2010. The sisters will be doing 2 performances for the students and will introduce them to spirituals and how these songs were a part of our nation's history.
The Lofties Sisters have been singing together for nearly 50 years and have shared their gift of music at nursing homes, schools, weddings and various local events. Webster Groves even declared Oct. 14, 2009 "Lofties Sisters Day." We are very excited that they have volunteered to share their gift of song with us and look forward to this special event!
