Congratulations Graduates!

On May 23, Miriam celebrated a Graduation Ceremony for this year's thirteen 8th grade graduates. Brett DeHecker, a Miriam alumnus, began the ceremony with a moving speech to the graduates. The ceremony continued with a special message to their students from Mrs. Cognata and Dr. Pontikes. Each graduate received a gift from the school and a ceremonial key along with their diploma. Following the ceremony, the students and their families enjoyed a few treats while they gathered for one last time.

We're proud of the accomplishments of this year’s graduating class and wish the students and their families’ great success in the future.

Butterflies Set Free

Several of the classrooms have recently been watching their chrysalises turn into butterflies right before their eyes. Room 1 successfully watched 6 Painted Lady Butterflies emerge and set them free to enjoy their natural environment. Several more classrooms are anxiously awaiting the arrival of their own butterflies, moths and ladybugs.
