Miriam students have recently been collecting food for Operation Food Search. The students decided to have a little fun with the project by creating different structures out of the cans they collected. The students showed their creativity as well as their generosity during this project.

Miriam Scholastic Book Fair
This year's Scholastic book fair was a huge success thanks to the organization of its co-chairs Patrice Janyska and Tammy Dunne! Through the generosity of our many volunteers and our busy shoppers the fair went way beyond our goal of $4,000 to collect a grand total of $5,460 in sales! Our Scholastic representative is astounded at the success of our fair and mentioned that "it shows what a commitment to literacy" our school has.
It was such a pleasure to meet the many new faces who joined us at this year's Book-nic. We hope everyone enjoyed the day and had an opportunity to have their picture taken with their special visitor. Those of you who would like to have a copy of the picture click here.
